The Clonazepam (CLO) Rapid Test Strip (Urine) is a rapid urine screening test that can be performed without the use of an instrument. The test utilizes a monoclonal antibody to selectively detect elevated levels of CLO metabolite (7-Aminoclonazepam) in human urine. The Clonazepam (CLO) Rapid Test Strip (Urine) yields a positive result when the Clonazepam metabolite in urine exceeds 300 ng/mL.
1. Wait until the pouch reaches a stable room temperature before opening. Once the test strip is out of the pouch, it must be utilized within an hour to maintain its efficacy.
2. Align the test strip so that the arrows are directed towards the urine sample, and then dip it vertically into the urine for no less than 10 to 15 seconds. Be cautious not to go past the maximum line (MAX) on the strip. Consult the provided illustration for proper technique.
3. Set the test strip on a non-absorbent, level surface, start timing, and wait for any color lines to develop. The results are to be interpreted at exactly 5 minutes and should not be read after 10 minutes have elapsed.
